This month’s reading is:
"I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" is a classic 1967 sci-fi horror short story by Harlan Ellison about a malevolent, god-like supercomputer named AM that tortures the last five humans alive for eternity, reflecting on human suffering, consciousness, and vengeance after humanity created it to wage war. The title comes from the profound, voiceless torment experienced by the captives, especially the final act of despair when one survivor is transformed into a helpless, conscious slug.
